Celebrating 20 Years
Twenty years in business, it's crazy to say. Being a small, family business, there have been plenty of ups and downs, but we are so thankful to our Desert Steel family for keeping us in business.
When we first started out, Eric Carroll was building custom handrails before being inspired by a trip out to Arizona. Seeing the magic of desert landscaping, he was determined to build a replica for folks back in Kansas who couldn't grow cacti. After the first prototype was built, Eric and his father-in-law Richard decided to hit the road and see if anyone else would be interested in these beautiful pieces--sure enough, the whole trailer full sold out and Desert Steel was born.
After 20 years, we can more confidently than ever say that our pieces are built to last. Our pieces have been standing up in the elements for 20 years and still look incredible. We are also proud to say that we are still a family business, if you call the office, you may hear baby giggles of the 4th generation of our Desert Steel family.
