"Second time I've ordered from Dessert Steel. Love the products. Unfortunately, the latest two I ordered had some sort of manufacturing flaw. One of the numbered spikes would not seat properly for both of the agaves I ordered. Same numbered spike in each case. I went ahead and put them together without the one spke each and notified Desert Steel. They asked that I provide pictures of the unusable spikes, which I did. That was the last I heard on the matter. The sculpures still look good, but I'm a little put off that once I provided those pictures, that was the last I heard. Not even a thank you for sending the pix. Not the biggest deal, but kind of unprofessional."

"Easy to assemble. Tightening of nut for completion requires a very long rachet extension. I mounted the assembly stand on a 35 pound sheet of 1/2" steel (16" x 16") for secure placement. The included mounting stand is very small and light. The finished piece is magnificent. No maintenance!!"
